all cards created will be on our EMV platform with a promise of security and data management.
c. Biometric systems (Access Control) – the smart cards will have the ability to take two applications inclusive of the bankcard software. The secondary application will include the biometric software. Our access control will be used for the following:
▪ Central Identification system (to track fake students)
▪ Examination Identification tools (to avoid impersonation)
▪ Employee Time & Attendance (to monitor staff attendance)
Furthermore, the smart cards act as a compliance tool. With highly functional and secure readers, card can be used for accreditation before pre-paid services such as semester examinations. It can also be used for scheme access; cardholders will be entitled to additional schemes, promos, discounted/free services, etc.
MelPrim Business Services Limited in partner with Etranzact and SuperCard, develop and administer an identity management solution designed to facilitate the effective identification and easy management of pensioners of agencies, parastatals and other departments of the federal institutions and private organisations. This project resulted in significant reductions in processing time and leakages in the systems.

IP Surveillance Systems are the global standard in security today and has proven to be the best solution even in some very difficult scenarios. Additionally, this project will entail the provision of a biometric personnel ID management system for the officers and men of the police. The project will be funded under a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) arrangement to minimize the financial burden on the police.
